Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain, we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack System using part numbers THARB47 and TH450R. With our roof rack pre-assembled according to the instructions, we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll set the front crossbar on top of the factory raised side rails. We'll bring the rubber coated steel strap underneath the side rails and clamp them to each foot. After ensuring the triangles on each foot are pulling directly over the side rails and that our AeroBlade is even with the vehicle, we can go ahead and tighten it down using the included Allen wrench with an inch foot. And that will secure the front crossbar to our vehicle.

Today on this 2011 Nissan Rogue we are going to show you how to install a Thule Crossroad roof rack system. The Thule Crossroad system is designed to attach to vehicles with factory raised side rails like we have on our Rogue. Once we have the crossbars assembled, we can place them on top of our side rails. Make sure that they are spaced evenly on both sides with the side rails so that the crossbars run perpendicular to your vehicle. Once you have the front crossbar in place, you can use the integrated tool on the end cap to tighten them down. The Crossroad feet attach to the factory side rails using a rubber coated steel band. This band will strongly and securely grip your side rails but the rubber coating will help protect them as well. As we tighten down the clamp on the Crossroad foot, it also tightens the crossbar into the foot. We will move back and forth from the driver side to the passenger side to make sure the rack tightens down evenly and we do not lose our positioning.

Alright, today on this 2008 Acura RDX we are going to install roof rack. We will be using parts from Thule and we will be using the following part numbers. First off, we are going to use the Traverse foot pack, this will be part number TH480. And then we are going to be using roof rack bars, THLB58. And then we are going to use a fit kit. And these are actually the parts that actually adapt the roof rack to the roof line of the vehicle itself. That is going to be part number THKIT1550. Alright, we will go ahead and assemble one side. It looks like there is a lot of parts but it is really easy to put together. So let us go ahead and remove the excess parts we need and go ahead and do one side. 0:37 The best way to start off is to pick out one side of the rack that you want to work with. In this case we are going to start with the driver side in the front and we picked out the parts that are in the instructions for this location. And the parts do specify specific numbers. For instance, on the rubber pad here, it has part number 204 and the instructions tell you that this is located on the driver side in the front. You can see it has a really nice thick pad to it. It is about a 1/2 inch here on one side and about 7/8 inch on the other. And you can see how it matches the roof line this way. And then the same thing applies to the metal ...
